”Inspiring Women” Kickoff Event
The Victor Valley Museum & Art Gallery for a month long exhibition that features the Today’s Woman “Retrospective of Inspiring Woman of the 1950‘s. A special screening of the Today’s Woman Retrospective will be presented on March 6th, 2008 at the Victor Valley Museum located at 11873 Apple Valley Rd. Apple Valley at 6:00 pm. The Daily Press will present their 2008 Inspiring Women profile winners & nominees. Mark you calendar for an eventful evening.

This year Today’s Woman is
excited to offer a Holiday Crafter’s Boutique. The outdoor
Boutique allows crafters an affordable opportunity to display
and sell their unique, custom, handcrafted items. With our Expo
attendance growing to 2,000 plus this is a great opportunity-don’t
miss out! Today’s Woman Expo is one of the premier Women’s
Expo in the High Desert.
The deadline to reserve
your booth is September 28, 2007. Proceeds from the Today’s
Woman Expo benefit our local American Cancer Society
Expo admission is $5.00, and all
women will have access to many important resources through a variety
of vendors showcasing services and products geared to the lifestyle
of Today’s Woman. Free health screenings provided by Choice
Medical Group and their physicians, also representatives from
the medical community. Proceeds from the Expo benefit our local
American Cancer Society.
Today’s Woman is a non-profit
event that for the 7th year will recognize National Breast Cancer
Awareness Month. Returning again this year bigger and better is
the Pathway of Honor and Celebration, honoring those who have
survived and those we’ve lost to cancer. There’s still
time to include your loved ones names, photos and messages. Our
Keynote Guest Speaker is Ms. Vicki Lawrence of “The Carol
Burnett Show” and “Mama’s Family” fame.
Our mission is “to provide
women in our community with valuable information and offer appropriate
tools to help enhance their physical, emotional, and spiritual
health; in turn, help develop, educate and improve the outlook
and whole health of Today’s Woman.”

is famous for creating the “Mama” character of the
“Mama’s Family” sitcom (still in syndication)
